The Signum Quartet, one of Radio 3’s New Generation Artists from 2011 – 2013, plays the third movement from Erwin Schulhoff’s Five Pieces for String Quartet – Alla Czeca.

The Signum Quartet, one of Radio 3’s New Generation Artists from 2011 – 2013, plays the Concerto for String Quartet and Wind Orchestra. The BBC National Orchestra of Wales is conducted by Christoph König.

Carl Maria von Weber wrote mostly for the piano and orchestra – but he also wrote a few chamber pieces here and there. Hear his Quintet for Clarinet and Strings Op. 34, with the Signum Quartet and clarinetist Jörg Widmann.
